Face painting begins with a child's vivid imagination. Children will decide which "character" they want to emulate. Usually a child will choose his or her favorite movie superstar,  cartoon character, or comic book hero. Then the face artist paints a child's clean and shining face using colorful, non-toxic, hypoallergenic clown makeup, water-based paints, brushes and various sponges. And you get to watch the amazing transformation. Right before your EYES.This photo show left is Deborah Hercsek, getting ready for a Halloween performance.

In the photo shown right, this young lady wanted to look like a friendly "scarecrow."  So Giggles quickly painted her face and created the costume for this happy  princess from items they found around-the-house! It was the perfect scarecrow-costume. This young lady went onstage and performed in a dance recital as a friendly scarecrow. Face-painting is so much fun for everyone! The painting process can be completed in only minutes; but more complicated and IDEALIZED face paintings may take as long as 1 hour or longer! The end result is worth it. And the Costumes too!

Oh my what have we here? A tigress? Yes. She was the star of the contest! This face painting was exactly what the young lady wanted!

Shown below: Several happy children with face-paintings by Deborah Hercsek. Costumes were created through the joint efforts of Giggles, Rosebud D. Clown, Ella Elf, each child, and their creative mom!
